Coach Jada Jordan

Our “Head Coach” at S.W.I.S.H. Jada Jordan, or "Coach J" to most, brings over 20 years of child & youth advocacy, playing and coaching basketball. With a B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration, Coach Jordan understands and teaches the mental as well as the physical aspects related to playing any sport. She has played with, coached and been mentored by some of the best in basketball. She is a non-stop student of the game, always willing to pass on her knowledge.

"Coach J" wears many hats related to basketball and making young ballers better. She trains some of the best young athletes in Georgia through the S.W.I.S.H. training program and works as a player development coach with the Atlanta Hawks summer camp program. Coach J also served as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Girl's Varsity coach at Holy Spirit Preparatory School for 7 years. Currently, she works with the City of Decatur Active Living Dept. as a youth and adult sports program supervisor. Coach Jordan has many opportunities to reach young people and no matter the setting, her ultimate goal is to teach them all how to work hard and be THEIR best.

Coach Jordan knows the importance of having young people involved and active to decrease the chances of being drawn to “negative recreation”. She also sees the opportunity to use basketball and other sports as bait to get children hooked on more positive activities. Coach Jordan possesses the knowledge, experience, expertise and a strong desire to succeed. Her two passions, helping young people and her love for the game of basketball will be the driving forces behind her role as our Head Coach and the overall success of S.W.I.S.H. programs.
